The Party menu (Team in the PAL version of the game) is a menu in Miitopia that is devoted to checking a Mii's battle statistics and modifying their properties. The horse, introduced in the Nintendo Switch version, can also have its profile viewed in this menu.

In Miitopia, the party menu houses various party statistics and customization.

The main Party screen shows a collage of Mii characters (along with the horse in the Nintendo Switch version) that are either currently staying at the Inn or currently out on an adventure. The player can select a Mii to view statistics of. If a Mii currently has a set war cry, then they will briefly shout the war cry when being viewed. While viewing a Mii's profile, the player can switch to the previous or next Mii in the player's list by using the L or R button respectively.

There are multiple aspects that can be viewed on the Mii's profile, which include:

  • War cry: The Mii's current war cry that they will have a chance of shouting in battle when defeating a monster.
  • Best friend: The Mii with the highest relationship with the viewed Mii. It can only display a friend's name if they have at least reached relationship Level 5. If two or more Mii characters have the same relationship level with the viewed Mii, then there is a chance that the displayed Mii will change.
  • Favorite Food: The Mii's best grub that they have most recently had.
  • Weapon, Head, and Body: The Mii's current worn equipment.

Stats Menu

The Details menu shows the Mii's numerical stats from the current job's level plus bonus stats from grub and equipment. The horse does not display this due to lacking the same stat system. This menu also includes the following options:

  • Abilities: Lists all learned Assists, Horse Assists (Nintendo Switch version only), and Job Skills up to that point. A learned Assist also shows which other Mii character(s) can perform it along with the viewed character. On the horse's profile, this menu is the Assists button instead, as it has no job skills.
  • Relationships: Displays all relationships between the viewed character and all characters currently present in the Inn or during exploration, with the viewed character as the central focus.
  • Stats: Displays miscellaneous stats related to the viewed Mii's actions, consisting of the number of battles, final blows, defeats, times left out of party, HP Bananas gobbled, MP Candies gulped, grub grabbed, and gold grabbed. The horse does not have this menu.

Change[]

The Change option lets the user change a variety of the characters proportions. There are five options to choose from, not counting The Horse's options (four in the Nintendo Switch release, as the Name and Face options are grouped together), which include:

  • Face: Change the Mii's physical appearance.
  • Name: Change the Mii's name.
  • Personality: Change the Mii's current personality.
  • War cry: Change the Mii's current war cry.
  • Pose: Change the Mii's current pose on the profile screen.
  • Appearance: Change The Horse's pysical appearence (Nintendo Switch Version only)
  • Gender: Change The Horse's gender (Nintendo Switch Version only)

When it comes to the Pose option, there are a total of 11 poses to choose from, not counting the job default, with one pose being unique depending on the Mii's current personality.

Poses[]

Each personality has an extra unique pose, adding up to 17 poses total.

Change Job[]

Main article: Jobs

Along with the other options, there is one that allows the player to change a Mii's job, although the player cannot access this menu until after they free the three team members in the Haven Hollow during the story.

The player can choose from any job of their choice with this option, and their currently selected jobs statistics will be saved each time they switch jobs, meaning that they can toggle between said jobs if they want to, However, using a job that has not yet been used by the Mii will require starting from Level 1 with base equipment again.

Trivia[]

  • The UI for the Party menu in the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions are slightly different, with the Mii being in the center between the profile info and menu buttons in the Nintendo Switch version, while in the Nintendo 3DS version, the Mii is placed more towards the left side of the screen, thus the profile is on the right (the menu buttons are located on the bottom screen due to the Nintendo 3DS being dual-screened)
  • During the Dark Lord battle, if a Mii with a set war cry has their face stolen and given to an Imp, the said Imp will shout their war cry.
  • Checking the Party or Stuff menus while hovering over the entrance to an area on the world map will display the background of that said area, even when they are presumably closed off (for example, The Sky Scraper before collecting the jewels)
  • If a sick Mii is viewed on the profile, then they will not display their set pose, being replaced with them in bed no matter the option, and their war cry will be shouted in a thought bubble instead of the usual speech bubble.
    • Reasonably, when selecting Change, the Mii's set pose will be properly back in view in order to let the player change the Mii's current pose for when they are cured again.
