"A fan of a certain games company. She's very interested in amiibo..."
- Mii Cast description
Appearance[]
The Nintendo Fan is a fan of all things of Nintendo, so she is always seen wearing different costumes based off of various Nintendo characters like Mario, Peach, Yoshi or Bowser.
Bio[]
The Nintendo Fan acts as a conduit for players to use their amiibo in Miitopia. Finding her on the various world maps in the game allows the player to speak to her and she will ask to see what amiibo they have. Some amiibo have her give the player costumes based on certain characters, while other amiibo can grant the player three tickets to use in the Inns.
amiibo gifts[]
The player can only use a single amiibo figure once, though due to the 3DS' and Switch's limited capacity of the recorded hash from the scanned amiibo, after scanning enough distinct amiibo figures, the game may eventually be able to accept figures that have been scanned before. After getting a costume from one of the specific characters, the player can get three Game Tickets from their other variations. The Nintendo Switch version also supports the Power-Up Band starting from version 1.0.3 onwards.
The Nintendo Fan will not accept amiibo cards, as well as the Delicious amiibo embedded into the Super Mario Odyssey tie-in of Super Mario Cereal boxes.

Trivia[]
- The Nintendo Fan is the only recurring traveler NPC (as in the Quizmaster, the Roaming Gourmet, and the like) to have clothing color variants, due to her Yoshi Clothing in Realm of the Fey. The color of the Nintendo Fan's Yoshi Costume is random each time the player starts a new save file.
- Subsequent Mii changes would reset the costume to a random color.
- Unlike other recurring NPCs which use one Personality voice, the Nintendo Fan has four voices. She uses the Energetic voice in Greenhorne, the Laid-back voice in Neksdor, the Cautious voice in the Realm of the Fey, and the Airheaded voice in Karkaton.
- Tanks cannot wear amiibo clothes due to the hat that they must keep on.
- At 13 figures, Link has the most amount of amiibo which can unlock his costume.
- Ness is the only character to have an amiibo costume that originated from an RPG.
- Additionally, his costume is the rarest, with only one amiibo variant rather than multiple, has only appeared in one series, and whose amiibo was exclusive to GameStops only in the US.
- Kirby is the only character that has an additional part to their costume that wasn't in their original character design, being the torso with a simple galaxy texture.
- The Dutch translation has an error where the names for the Inkling clothing are swapped, resulting in the Inkling Girl Clothing to be named Inkling-jongen-kleding (Inkling Boy Clothing) and vice versa.
- Unique equipment colors:
- The Inkling Boy Clothing, Inkling Girl Clothing, and Squid Clothing are the only clothing to use the unique ika colors ikaOrange and ikaLimeGreen. ikaOrange has less greens and no blues (RGB 250, 90, 0) compared to the basic orange (RGB 250, 110, 25), while ikaLimeGreen has more reds and less greens (RGB 170, 220, 0) compared to the basic lime green (RGB 59, 235, 0).
- There are unique colors in game code implied to be for the Yoshi Clothing and Toad Clothing, prefixed with "Yossy" and "Toad" respectively. However, both clothing in-game have their color list pulled from the more general equivalent colors instead.
- In comparison regarding the above point, with the exception of the black color equivalent for the Yoshi Clothing:
- YossyGreen is darker than the emerald green it is supposed to be the equivalent of.
- YossyRed is slightly more vivid than the basic red.
- YossyYellow is outright a brown color.
- YossySkyBlue is darker than the basic sky blue.
- YossyVividAzure is darker than the basic vivid azure.
- YossyPink has a more vivid red coloring than the basic pink.
- YossyBlueViolet is darker than the basic blue violet.
- ToadRed is pure red RGB-wise (the basic red is 242 instead of 255).
- ToadBlue is close to pure blue RGB-wise (RGB 0, 10, 255) compared to the basic blue (RGB 11, 28, 217).
- ToadGreen is a similar case like YossyGreen, though ToadGreen has slightly more greens (90) than YossyGreen (80).
- ToadYellow is closer to orange than yellow.
- ToadFuchsia is darker than the basic fuchsia.
