Hamburger Surprises (Japanese: びっくりバーガー Surprised Burger) are enemies that have a similar attack pattern to the Hamburger boss from Peculia. They can appear as enemies in mid-level dungeons (including a high-level dungeon, i.e. the Wayward Woods) during quests, and in the 4th District of New Lumos. There's also a boss version of this monster located in a dungeon during a Rank III (Level 29-31) quest. The boss version is fought alongside two Bloon Loon Loons.
Its main gimmick is "eating" a Mii to prevent them from fighting, copied from its predecessor.
Appearance[]
It appears to be a normal pale, veggie burger, until it reveals its white seed or onion-like fangs and gigantic, green veggie tongue. Its bun might actually be a bagel.
Its Mii parts are eyes and eyebrows.
Quest[]
Which Travelers' Hub quests that feature this monster seem to be complete random, and so do the dungeon location and rewards. If encountered as a boss, then defeating it will clear the quest.
Furthermore, two Hamburger Surprises appear as the boss in the Youngest Fab Fairy's Level 32 quest, which takes place in Eerie Road. This quest uses the stats of the non-boss variant, which means that they're not immune to status aliment or insta-kill skills. Defeating them in this quest will reward the player with three servings of Mysterious Crepe in addition to the Hamburger Surprise drops.
