The Fab Fairies (Japanese: 大妖精三姉妹 Dai-yousei 3-Shimai; Three Great Fairy Sisters) are three Elf sisters who help you continue your quest after saving them.
They do a magic dance to open a gate so you can continue, and again to reveal the pathway so you can get to the next area of the game. The second time, your Realm of the Fey team joins in.
Youngest Fab Fairy[]
The Youngest Fab Fairy is first encountered in the Elven Retreat. When the hero greets her, she claims she and her sisters had fought off the Dark Lord once before and drove him away, however after the battle was over monsters had kidnapped her elder sisters, leaving her to defend the town on her own. She accompanies the party to the Citrus Cave to help save the Middle Fab Fairy.
After her middle sister's rescue, she goes to the Elven Retreat while the hero saves the Eldest Fab Fairy with the Middle Fab Fairy's help. After the rescue of the elder sister, the youngest gets her face stolen by the Dark Lord and has her face on "Youngest Fab Fairy" Frog in the Lotus Lake.
Once Travelers' Hub becomes accessible, the Youngest Fab Fairy becomes a recurring quest giver whose requests always have something to do with being bored of salad and wanting some desserts instead. At this point she is not seen at the Elven Retreat during quests with her.

Middle Fab Fairy[]
After she is seen faceless in the Citrus Cave, a giant spider attacks the team with the Middle Fab Fairy's face on it. After she is rescued, she accompanies the party to the Bigg Forest to help recover her elder sister. Once her elder sister is rescued, and her younger sister's face is stolen, she goes to defend the Elven Retreat while the elder sister accompanies the party.
Eldest Fab Fairy[]
After her rescue in the Bigg Forest, her face is put on a huge owl, while her youngest sister's face is stolen. She then accompanies the party to the Lotus Lake. Once she is saved, she and her two sisters will perform a magical dance to open the path to the Dark Lord's castle to the east.

Second Encounter[]
During the second half of the game, while the protagonist treks through The Sky Scraper, The Darker Lord manages to steal the faces of all three sisters again, with the youngest sister's face being placed on a Red Frog, while the two elder sisters have their faces placed on "Fab Fairy"poles. After a decently tough battle, all three faces are rescued, with the eldest sister knowing that the protagonist can defeat The Darker Lord, the middle sister saying that they'll be waiting in the Elven Retreat, and the youngest sister telling the player not to lose, otherwise they'll have to deal with her.
Appearance[]
All the sisters have pointed ears just like the others elves from the Elven Retreat.
The Eldest Fab Fairy has long purple hair with a purple rose and wears a purple dress with wings and purple boots.
The Middle Fab Fairy has orange hair styled into a braid with a flower and wears an orange dress with a sweater, orange boots, and wings.
The Youngest Fab Fairy has yellow hair which is tied into a ponytail with a flower and wears a green tube top with green shorts and wings.

Trivia[]
- In promotional material from Nintendo of Europe, the name of the eldest Fab Fairy in their official artwork is given.
- The eldest is given the name "Maria", although the names of the other two are not given. All three are described as the idea of importing "Three best friends" from NOE's "Adventure awaits your Tomodachi Life Friends" video.
- The Nintendo Switch version of the game gives the following names to each sister: the eldest sister is "Wanda", the middle sister is "Tula", and the youngest sister is "Tressa" (known as "Thracie" in the European English version).
- It can be assumed that all three Fab Fairies are left-handed (or at least left-eye dominate), as they all use their left hands to draw their bowstrings.
- In battle, the Youngest Fab Fairy uses the Sprite Bow, the Middle Fab Fairy uses the Hunter Bow, and the Eldest Fab Fairy uses the Silver Bow.
