Elven Retreat

The Elven Retreat is the home of the elves and the Fab Fairies. The retreat is located in the Realm of the Fey, east of Neksdor and west of Karkaton. It is the fourth area the player can move around and talk to other Mii characters, along with being the fourth area attacked by the Dark Lord. This area is encountered after the Dark Lord has kidnapped the player's teammates for the second time. It has a population of 11 (including the Fab Fairies).

Injured Elf[]

"The town's appointed guard, except he's forever lost in daydreams."

The Injured Elf is known as the appointed guard for the Elven Retreat, although when he is first encountered by the player, he is on the ground injured. He explains to the player that the town had gotten attacked and the Fab Fairies were in trouble. He is the only villager in the town that can not be interacted in the town itself, but in a specific stage area. He does not get his face stolen.

Fab Fairies Fans[]

	"A member of the Fab Fairies fan club. The eldest sister is his hero."
	"A member of the Fab Fairies fan club. Greatly admires the middle sister."
	"A member of the Fab Fairies fan club. Loves the youngest sister's antics."

The Fab Fairies Fans consist of three people who admire the Fab Fairies. Each fan admires a different sister. When interacting with them individually, they cheer on for the sister they admire the most. All three of them get their faces stolen by the Dark Lord, and become a single boss monster known as the Tomato Bros.

[When the Youngest Fab Fairy is on the player's team, and the other two are missing] "Lady [Youngest Fab Fairy's name] is my hero! She's bright, she's cheerful and she's... Erm. Looking. At. Me. Ahem, you must be worried about your sisters. But you should know we're here for you."
[When the Middle Fab Fairy is on the player's team] "Happy-dappy-doodle-dee! Lady [Youngest Fab Fairy's name] is back home! I'd better go and see if she's all right! She's always so nice to me."

[After their face is saved, when the Eldest Fab Fairy is on the player's team] "Ohhhhh, my poor lady...! How could that fiend steal your face like that?! But I know that won't stop you, Lady [Youngest Fab Fairy's name]! Even without a face you are magnificent!"

Scaredy-Cat[]

"Afraid of outsiders and turns them all away. Hence the Elven "Retreat."

The Scaredy-Cat is the first face the player will see after encountering the Injured Elf and entering the Elven Retreat. They hide inside a tomato-shaped home and are afraid of just about everything. Their face gets stolen by the Dark Lord which becomes a boss monster known as Butterfly "Scaredy-Cat", which drops Fey Jewel C. They reward the player after rescuing their face with 5 HP bananas.

Green-Eyed Lady[]

"Hates the Fab Fairies with a passion. Thinks she's better than all of them."

The Green-Eyed Lady is a high-tempered elf in the Elven Retreat. She is seen angry, stomping her foot at all times. She hates the Fab Fairies and finds herself superior, complaining why she never gets some spotlight. She is one of the two villagers in the town who don't get their faces stolen.

Lazybones[]

"Life is full of ups and downs for most, but for him, it's middle-of-the-road."

The Lazybones is a villager in the Elven Retreat who, well, lives up to his name. He is seen laying down on his side, not having a care in the world. Not any that his face doesn't even get stolen by the Dark Lord.

Mischievous Witch[]

"Her magical abilities are limited exclusively to pranks. Shame."

The Mischievous Witch is a lighthearted prankster in the Elven Retreat. She has magic abilities, but only uses them for pulling jokes. Depending on which Fab Fairy the player is with, she will play different tricks:

The first time the player enters the Retreat, she makes the player disappear for a brief second before returning again.
When the Youngest Fab Fairy is with the player, she releases a shower of pink petals.
When the Middle Fab Fairy is with the player, she summons yellow-green flames around the player's feet.
When the player interacts with her while the three Fab Fairies are at the east gate, she attempts to make the player disappear, but makes herself disappear instead.
After her face is saved, when the Eldest Fab Fairy is with the player, she lets off two yellow and green fireworks.

Her face gets stolen by the Dark Lord and put on a monster boss known as the "Mischievous Witch" Slime, which drops Fey Jewel B upon defeat. She rewards the player after rescuing her face with some Elven Potion. Later on in the game, if she is visited and interacted with again, she will give the player a snack. After that, with any further interactions, she attempts to make the player disappear again, but fails.

Trivia[]

After having access to the Travelers' Hub, the Youngest Fab Fairy will appear every once in a while there. If the player visits the Elven Retreat while she is there, the game will recognize that she is not home and will not be present with the other Fab Fairies. This does not change any dialogue with the other Fab Fairy sisters.
The default Miis used for the Lazybones and the Mischievous Witch in the Switch version (Lacy and Trixie, respectively) have the exact same designs as the Miis used for the Vampire‘s (non-silhouetted) and Cleric’s artwork for the 3DS version, albeit Lacy has a darker skin tone, while Trixie has a lighter skin tone and blonde hair (the original Mii had black hair).
It is confirmed in the Switch version that Fab Fairies Fan 3 is a sibling of the Fab Fairies as the letter they send the player reads, "I simply ADORE my sister [youngest Fab Fairy]!" There is no similar confirmation for Fab Fairies Fans 1 or 2.
The European Switch version gives different default names for the roles:
- The default name for the Injured Elf in the European region of the Switch version is Alfred.
- The default names for the Fab Fairies Fans in the European region of the Switch version are Anthony, Bernie, and Chris.
  - The first letters in their names spell out the first 3 letters in the alphabet (ABC).
- The default name for the Green-Eyed Lady in the European region of the Switch version is Esmeralda.
- The default names for the Lazybones in the European region of the Switch version is Fowler.
