"Eldest Fab Fairy" Owl (Japanese: "Mii's name"フクロウ "Mii's name" Owl) is a major boss that's fought in the Realm of the Fey's Bigg Forest when rescuing the Fab Fairies.
This type of monster also makes an appearance as a Travelers' Hub quest monster, as it looks the same (albeit with a Traveler's or Traveler's Friend's face) and doesn't have an individual entry in the Monsters section of the Journal. Its move-set is even the same, though it's significantly stronger, being a post-game encounter.
Appearance[]
The "Eldest Fab Fairy" Owl is a huge brown owl whose head is several times bigger than its body. It appears to share a few features from various real-life owl species (like the flat white face possibly reminiscent of a barn owl's). Its bushy "unibrow" hair is white, its small beak is black, its markings are brownish white, and its clawed feet are dark brown. The front has has the face of the Eldest Fab Fairy (Traveler's or their Friend's in post-game quests)
Quest[]
"Eldest Fab Fairy" Owl is battled in Bigg Forest alongside the Middle Fab Fairy after she is saved. Once defeated, the Eldest Fab Fairy's face is restored.
With all of them reunited, the Eldest Fab Fairy and her sisters will then open the gate to the East side of Realm of the Fey.
The Travelers' Hub quest variant can randomly show up in the end of a temporary dungeon, this time with the client's (or their friend's) face. Defeating it will clear the quest.
