As you may know. Uncharted Galados has gained a lot of infamy through out the Miitopia Fandom for it's sudden Spike in difficulty to the game. For me, it wouldn't be as big of a deal if it wasn't for 1, the Difficulty spike feels way too out of nowhere, and 2, most of the monsters don't even fit for Galados. Do you really think Giant Noses, Sandwiches, and a Red Fire Breathing Dragon is what comes to mind when you think of a Beach area? Or let alone a Forest section of a Beach? With that in mind, I will show off what I think would be a great way to improve on Uncharted Galados.
First off a changed the Map Design a bit.
I made the Level layout more unique rather than having them in a single line.
For the Area's Backgrounds, I'd keep the Realm of the Fey Forest Design to match with getting the Elf Job BUT change its color a bit and replace the big Tomatos with big Coconuts to make it more interesting. There will also be an arrival clip to the area since for some reason Uncharted Galados doesn't have one.
The First Level will Split into two paths with the Left Path labeled "Easy" and will lead to Level 2 which has weaker enemies, while the Right Path will be labeled as "Hard" and will lead to Level 3 which has much stronger Monsters.
I got this Idea from the way one of the Quests works and I thought it would work in Uncharted Galados as well because you'll get an actual choice on if you want to fight fair leveled enemies, or if you enjoy intense challenges.
Now I'll show what monsters I think should appear here:
When Going on the Easy path you'll encounter the following:
Cuckoonut. A Monster I came up with. Its stats will be similar to Twergull but with 400 HP. It drops "Coconut Juice" upon defeat.
Baby Dragon. I think it fits with Galados much better than Red Dragon.
Ammonite Fossil. Ammonites live in the sea, and so I don't see it too far from logic for it to show up in Uncharted Galados, which is close to a beach.
And Licorice Jelly
As for going on the Hard Path, you'll see these:
Cuckoonut again. Because I don't see why not.
Twerpea. Did you really expect going on the "Hard" path to be an "Easy" choice to make? BTW, I thought this enemy would fit for the Realm of the Fey like environment.
And Ancient Robot. This works well for giving the feeling that Uncharted Galados is some area that is very old, long abandoned, and well, "UNCHARTED".
I also think this works great for the fact that Nimbus has Aging robots, and then the 2 Islands aside of Miitopia are New Lumos and Galados which have opposite types of robots. New Lumos having Brand New Robots and Galados having Ancient Robots.
And I think the Boss for the Final Level should still be Replica Dark Lord, with the only changes being that it can't be ONE HIT KO'd or Spared or Distracted, and it can be refought endlessly. Though I think a boss with a full Mii face would be a more fun idea.
Last of all, while I think the Elf Job is nice, I think it's a bit on the OP side, so one thing I thought about doing to Nerf it is to Lower the chance of the Move "Dancing Arrow" to make enemies dance. Instead, "Dancing Arrow" will only have a 50% chance of making a Monster dance to avoid the Player being able to cheese through the game as easily.
That is all I have to say. Please let me know in the comments what you think about my idea on changing Uncharted Galados, and if there's any way to improve on what I came up with.
