I don’t know how but I did it! I RECORDED THE ENTIRE THING AND UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE!!!
It’s possible for the Darkest Lord or the Dark Sun to have 3 turns in one, if just before reaching half HP (or in the Dark Sun’s case, 30% of HP), he kills a Mii and another Mii avenges that one, reducing his HP to below 30%. It this is the first out of his two turns, he will say “And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for!” and use Big Bang, reducing your team to 1 HP. He will then use his standard attack, therefore having had 3 turns in one! It happened to me on my latest Tower of Dread run.
I was attempting it on stream earlier and I actually beat it! In like, 9 attempts from when I first tried. Now I've finally unlocked the Tower of Despair! Can't wait to try it out!
Here's that stream if anyone's curious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7-AQ5A44DM
In one of my old saves I had an Imp in my main party and the AI for them is kinda bad. They learn a HP draining move at level 11 and they almost never use it. Most of the time when they're low on HP, Imps eat their HP bananas then eat everyone else's when they run out. It's especially annoying in the Tower of Dread where snacks are nice to have for the later boss fights.
So in a few articles, whoever edited them states what those weird letters that pop up in New Lumos for example say. So far I've only seen this happen in the articles for Retroputer II and Tower of Dread's trivia sections. If whoever made those edits about those characters is reading this, can you provide some sort of key on how to translate the language? I'm dying to know.
Team I used:
Krystal: Cool Thief (MC) (Level 47)
Alissa: Stubborn Mage (Level 46)
Melissa: Cautious Cleric (Level 44)
Kyle: Laid-Back Warrior (Level 38) (Yes, the gap was big but I needed someone to replace my Level 43 Kind Pop Star who only uses Love Song, I hate you, Yume.)
Ft. Misty, Youngest Fab Fairy :)))
(Tip for anyone who wants to go through Tower of Dread: Go to the Traveller's Hub and accept a quest, more specifically a quest with a companion, then go to the Tower of Dread! you'll need that extra damage.)
TIP: Try to save all of your Sprinkles for the Dark Sun, it'll come in handy, in the meantime, abuse the Safe Spot, memorizing all the turns is also useful to figure out whether you need a Safe Spot, losing a turn or can hold on until the healer's turn.
There was a moment when everyone except my Warrior was dead, luckily my Warrior was smart and used Super Snap Out of It and revived the Cleric :D
After some Safe Spot abuse(TM) The Cleric revived everyone else and we were able to beat Dark Sun!
